Compare and Contrast

Prisms and pyramids have the exact same volume as a prism except that it is 1/3 of the entire thing. Cylinders and cone are also similar this way in volume the cone is 1/3 of the cylinder. Surface area is another story because on a prism you add all of the sides, on a pyrimid all you have to do is find lateral area and add the are of the base. A cone is the same formula as the pyramid, but a cylinder is 2pi*r sq+2pi*r*h.
